We went to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 3, 2008. The Army Band played between races, alternating with the University of Louisville band. My parents came up to spend time with us and go to the Derby. We were located in a special area in the infield and we could see the finish line (picture below was our view).

wow! how cool is that?!?! Jason and I were saying how neat it would be to go to the Derby at least once...
