Well Andrew's mom and I and 2 friends went to the Daffodil Parade today in Puyallup. I had never been to Puyallup, but it is a nice town, bigger than where we live, but still not a big city. The parade went thru 4 towns today and Puyallup was the 2nd on the parade route. The floats were very nicely decorated and creative. Here are a few pictures of what we saw:
Picture 1--Color Guard from First Corp, Fort Lewis, Washington
Picture 2--One of the many floats we saw

Picture 3--A bagpipe band they also had a few drums. They were really good.

Picture 4--There was this really cool group of unicycler kids, they were amazing, and they had to keep making loops because the parade would stop/slow down.

We had a really nice time, it was a 2 hour parade with lots of bands, floats, and entertainment. Afterwards we stopped at a Germany grocery, bakery, cafe and had a little snack.

Great Pics! Sounds like you had a fun day. I can't wait to get over there is see it for myself. I love the small town areas you have told us about.
